Kari Adams Matchmaker

F.A.Q.

After joining, how soon will I be introduced to a date?

Depending on your criteria, matching typically begins within 3 - 10 days of activation. Before you know it, you'll be on your first Princeton Elite Club date!

Do I get to talk to my Match before meeting?

Absolutely. When you're contacted about a potential match and you agree to meet each other, phone numbers are exchanged and you will have an opportunity to speak to each other. This is a great way to get to know one another before meeting in person as it takes the pressure off so you can relax and enjoy your date!

How much does your service cost?

I offer differing levels of service depending upon your personal and unique situation since many of my clients are either newly single or recently divorced. I use a very in-depth approach by getting personally acquainted with you and work to enrich your life by coaching and potentially introducing you to someone special. This process requires a lot of time and attention. Fees vary depending upon your current circumstance and the number of introductions and coaching sessions you would like to receive. I’m more than happy to discuss specific price ranges during the initial phone conversation.

What if I meet someone either through you or on my own after joining your service. Can I freeze my membership?

Yes. You can freeze your membership up to a year as long as you submit your request in writing. When you are ready to resume, a simple written request is required to reactivate.

What is your process and how do you go about matching clients?

It's easy to begin! It starts with a brief phone call where I speak with you to determine if you and I will have a good working relationship and if you will benefit from my services. We will then meet in person for an in-depth interview process where I begin with basic demographic information. I use many practical tools when matching clients but the two I've found most successful are experience and intuition. Once you agree to become a client, I then thoroughly review database members' criteria to see if they are a well suited match for you. Based on personalities, background, education, religion, location, physical requirements, activities and interests and of course commonalities, my scouting techniques are personal, thorough and well thought out.

What’s the difference between a matchmaker and an online dating service?

The main difference between a matchmaking service and online dating is the relationship formed between your matchmaker and yourself. Unlike online dating, you receive personal attention, professional coaching, feedback and a program that is personally tailored for you. As your matchmaker, I carefully qualify every member and client. Since my motto is “quality versus quantity,” I do not accept everyone that contacts me, as opposed to dating services that enroll as many people as possible and leave it up you to make it work. I work personally and closely with my clients to make sure they meet singles that meet their criteria or at least to help them find what they’re looking for.

Why would I hire a matchmaker?

You should consider hiring a matchmaker if you have a very active lifestyle, you’re a busy professional, or also if you have discerning requirements in a mate. You may also want to use a matchmaker if you don’t have the time for or you are frustrated with online dating. Matchmaking is for people who want to keep their personal life, just that, personal and private. Not everyone is comfortable with having their picture and personal information exposed for the World-Wide Web to see. You should also consider using a matchmaker if you are new to dating and would like some support, coaching and guidance while you “get back out there.”
